  1. There’s lots of job in the Adelaide Hills … the secret is actually coming up here and looking for a job, not sitting in the CBD sending emails.

The farmers like to SEE who they’re employing, so come up, stay a week and if the season’s right, you’ll get a job!

    • I am interested to apply for a fruit picker but I am not familiar to the place. I can start immediately because I have no work right now. What bus do I catch? Where can I get off? What cheap accommodation will I stay? I’m from Kurralta Park S.A. How many hours is the travel time? Kindly reply for me to know.

  5. hi everybody.
I want to move to adelaide hills but to have a fruit picking job do we really need a car ?

momo December 28, 2011 at 4:56 am Reply
    • A car is handy Momo, but not compulsory. We try and recruit some people with cars and there’s usually a few spare spots for people to jump in and share costs. We have several farms within walking distance but most are a short drive away.
