Bairnsdale is 3-4 hours west of Melbourne along the Princess Freeway. Train services operate regularly to so you won’t have any problems there if without a car.

Some farms will provide basic dorm style accommodation for harvest workers or will accommodate harvest workers with camper vans or camping equipment. Otherwise there’s a caravan park and motel in town.

    I am enquiring on behalf of a friend who is egyprian (he speaks english) for a working position. He is currently working in saudi arabia but his work visa is coming to an end and has not been able to find more employment there. Due to the problems in Egypt at the moment he will be unable to gain employment in egypt when he returns shortly so is asking friends to help him obtain employment somewhere else.

    I am 22 years old travel with one friend, we have got our own car,
    driver liecense, tax file, resume, already couple of weeks experience in fruitpicking (apple+blueberrie)
    we want work asap as much as possible and we are hard worker, really motivated to earn money!!!
