Getting There

Burnie is a 30 minute drive west along the coast from Devonport. There’s a direct air service from Melbourne to Burnie as well as regular buses running from Launceston, Hobart and Devonport.

Accommodation

Some farms will provide basic dorm style accommodation for harvesters or will accommodate harvest workers with camper vans or camping equipment. In Burnie you will find a backpackers hostel, caravan park, hotel and motel.
