Fruit and vegie growers want more transparency on wholesale pricing

Fruit and vegetable growers are demanding greater transparency on prices they’re getting paid by wholesale merchants.

Their call comes as a federal parliamentary committee calls for submissions on whether to amend the Horticulture Code Bill,

Guy Gaeta, from Orange in NSW, opened his own stall at Sydney markets to sell his apples and cherries.

He says the merchants at the markets are
