We are an English couple who have been in australia for about 4 months now. Our first 3 months we travelled WA but We have just came over to the Queensland area to do our 88 days agricultural work. We are currently on the move or staying with a family friend in Wavell Heights. When we find work we will be heading towards our work destination. Myself and Kyle are both looking for work as we both want to qualify for our second year visa. We are a very easy going couple who are enjoying every minute of Australia and are very committed to doing our farm work as this means a lot for us to be in the country another year. We are very hardworking and willing to do any duties put to us. We currently don’t have any picking experience but we are willing to learn all new tasks involved and are looking forward to the experience. When we was over in the WA myself Danielle I worked in a salad bar up until me coming over to queensland. I am a fully qualified hairdresser but I am enjoying doing some different job roles whilst spending my two years in oz. Kyle worked doing fencing for the length of time we was there so is very good with lifting and so on.. We are looking to find a farm and stick with them for as long as the farm will keep us. We are wanting to do our 88 days farm work but if work commences then we will be happy to stay to earn some money and save. The whereabouts of the farm is not an issue with us as the important thing is that everyone on the farm is nice and we can enjoy our experience for the time we are there. We have lots of motivation towards this job. We want to prove that we are hard working people and also want to keep our jobs as its means a lot getting the visa therefore we are very motivated into keeping our boss impressed with our level of work. Myself and Kyle are active people and enjoy the outdoors very much since being in oz. We understand it’s hard work but we are willing to put all effort into this.
Hope to hear from you soon … We are willing to take work ASAP.
Thanks for your time.
Kyle & Danielle
I’m a young Englishman looking for fruit picking work near Brisbane
Hello, we are a twenty-nine and twenty-four year old British couple interested in your avocado picking work once the season commences. Currently we are in Brisbane but can travel at short notice. We have our full one-year working holiday visa’s and TFN numbers. We have previously worked and lived across Africa (Ghana, Kenya) and so are used to working for extended periods of time in hot and humid places. We are honest, flexible and reliable people, willing to work hard and for long hours. We both work well in a team with others and can also competently work on our own. We also both hold full, clean UK driver’s license. Please get in touch if you have work for us!
Many thanks, Sophia and Neil

Hi my name is James Mekab. I am from Honiara, Solomon Islands. I am interested in the picking apple. My age is 45 and still very tough to do any job in this industry.
Two Mps from Australia were here in December and signed with Solomon Islands Government the idea of Solomon Islanders coming to Australia under the seasonal workers scheme. It will start in July this year.
I am one of those interested and will be happy to hear your comments. There are information regarding this scheme.
Please let me know any thing. If you say ok I will provide the information to Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade who is responsible for this here in Solomon Islands.
If you know other farmers who are interested please let me know soon also.
I await your reply in due course.
This is a genuine request and thank you
James Mekab
